Multiple Interactive Experiences at Dreamforce Event for Salesforce

In collaboration with George P. Johnson, a strategic experiential marketing agency, Groove Jones crafted immersive interactive experiences for Salesforce’s illustrious flagship event, Dreamforce. This marked the fourth year Groove Jones had the privilege of contributing its interactive solutions to this conference.

The collaboration had two goals: first, to showcase Salesforce’s cutting-edge AI capabilities through the Einstein BrAInwaves Surf Game; second, to demonstrate the connection between AI and the Data Cloud through the Harmonizer App Visuals and Harmonizer LED Wall Videos.

Groove Jones crafted four components of the Dreamforce conference.

The Brainwaves Kinect Surfing Game is a testament to AI’s power, offering users an immersive and interactive experience. Developed on the Unity Game Engine, motion sensing is facilitated by the Azure Kinect, ensuring precise and dynamic gameplay by the user standing in front of the screen and using their body as the “controller.”

Leaning left or right steers the player through the game, and a “super pose” gives them special Einstein abilities like answering large amounts of collected emails and doubling their score or making it easier to collect objects that help your clients and boost your score!

Additional functionalities are integrated through the Spline plugin, while Blender handles intricate 3D modeling to bring the experience to life. The pivotal point of the Brainwaves Surfing Game is that Salesforce’s AI Cloud is built on their Einstein GPT Trust Layer, which safeguards a company’s sensitive customer data. A company can use any AI model — and keep data locked down tight.

In this game, players embark on a journey, riding Einstein’s brainwaves to harness the full potential of artificial intelligence.

The Visuals for the Harmonizer App Experience offer a tactile interaction that showcases Salesforce’s Data Cloud product. Users engage with a mixer board, plugging in cables and adjusting knobs to harmonize data, showcasing the seamless integration between Data Cloud and AI. The visuals are crafted using Figma for precise UI design. Animated videos created in After Effects further enhance the interactive elements, providing users with an engaging and educational experience.

Using sound waves to represent data, users can see how they can connect, harmonize, and unify all their customer data with Salesforce Data Cloud.

  • Users discover how to take action on meaningful insights.

The Harmonizer LED Wall Videos are a captivating visual component of the interactive experience. These 9 dynamic animated videos, created in After Effects, add an extra layer of engagement to the overall project. Serving as a complementary element, these videos contribute to the immersive nature of the project, creating a visually stunning element for the interactive experiences. The videos were compiled into one loop.

The displays showcase how there is more data than ever recorded — disconnected and hard to manage. The Data Cloud connects and harmonizes data into a unified customer profile giving the consumer the insights and action needed to personalize the customer experience, including CRM data, Streaming data, Legacy systems, and External data warehouses.

Badge Scanner App

The Badge Scanner App, an integral part of the immersive experiences, seamlessly facilitates entry for Dreamforce attendees. Employing a dedicated QR scanner device connected via USB to the Groove Jones operational hub, the app adeptly reads and interprets the encoded information. This allows us to discern the first names of participants, affording a personalized touch to their journey. Simultaneously, the QR code data is dispatched to a structured database. For the sake of privacy, we assign a temporary identifier like “anonymous” to ensure visitors are at ease. This data aggregation empowers us to analyze the visitor flow, facilitating proactive measures during peak traffic periods.

This system allows for fluid connectivity. Multiple installations synchronize seamlessly with our central server. This synergy enables the app to redirect users to their subsequent experiences, ensuring a seamless and immersive journey through the Dreamforce showcase.
